On February 15th, Walker Consultants met with a few of our board
members to gather insights on parking in the beach area. The city has
hired this firm to study and make recommendations to improve parking
and to suggest solutions. Besides providing spaces for patrons of
beach businesses there is a need to offer affordable parking for
employees. According to Jim Corbett of Walker, they are meeting with
various civic associations and will be walking our area to count and
evaluate parking.
