Along with the Leadership Hollywood program, we need donations & sponsors to help in setting up a Computer Science Coding Fair at Broward College on May 19th.
Dear Partner in Education,
We invite you to support the 1st annual Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Computer Science Fair/Expo, in collaboration with a team from Leadership Hollywood and with support from Code.org held on Saturday, May 19th from 9:00am – 12:00pm at Sheridan Technical College, Hollywood, FL.
The CS Fair celebrates and showcases #BrowardCODES students with an opportunity to share their creative computer science projects and network with each other, local tech industry businesses, and colleges/universities.
You can help support this event and computer science education in Broward Schools in several ways.
- SPONSORS: monetary donations to support this event as well as provide funding to sustain and grow computer science education in Broward Schools.
- PRESENTERS: for a $75 event table fee a. local universities and colleges will be able to provide students with information on computer science and technology programs offered at their institutions b. local tech industry businesses will showcase STEM+CS internships and careers, network with students and share this information via print and/or company branded pens, bags, toys, etc.
- DONATIONS: for the event in the form of t-shirts, snacks, beverages, backpacks, giveaways, etc.
- VOLUNTEERS: to help setup, facilitate, and cleanup the event.
