HOLLYWOOD, FL — The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, presents the 2019 Disaster Preparedness Conference: A comprehensive conference supporting the business community by providing valuable information and insightful advice on disaster preparedness. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 18th, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, 1111 N Ocean Dr, Hollywood, FL 33019.
Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will open the conference. Participants will engage with Expert Panelists who will deliver “best practices” concerning business management and operations. Our panel topics include (1) Emergency Management (2) Insurances / Legal (3) Finance (4) IT/Communication (5) Disaster Response/ Recovery. The Conference will facilitate the business community’s understanding on how to prepare for, respond to and recover from natural disasters.
Along with the expert panels, there will be a Business Expo highlighting contractors, services and businesses from a variety of preparedness industries relevant to the hardening of a business and aftermath recovery. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with local, state and federal organizations to learn the policy issues that must be considered pre/during/post disaster.
Conference goers will receive a Resource Guide — a program booklet containing all helpful links, expert panel advice and local business and emergency organizations directory. The Resource Guide contains valuable knowledge to be used when developing a plan of action.

Single entry tickets are $85 which includes full access to conference activities, continental breakfast & buffet lunch and full access to business expo. Expo Tables are available for purchase beginning at $350.00 (Chamber Members $250.00 includes one admission). Sponsorship are also available on multiple levels. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT is $65 for admission if you register before April 11, 2019.
