As part of the Army Corps of Engineers Beach Renourishment Project, the City of Hollywood Department of Design & Construction Management’s contractor, Continental Heavy Civil Corp (CHC), will be conducting tilling operations on the sandy beach on Monday, April 15th through Friday, April 19th from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. .

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - March 1 marks the official start of sea turtle nesting season. The Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program (BCSTCP) documented a record-setting 3,650 nests on the County's 24-mile coastline (including the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park) in 2022. Three species of sea turtles typically nest on Broward's beaches: leatherbacks, loggerheads and green turtles. Americas North (RAN), in partnership with USA Rugby & the Florida
Rugby Union, is delighted to announce that Florida is set to host the
second annual RAN Hollywood Beach 5s tournament on January 11, 2020.
This past January, the inaugural tournament was held under sunny skies
and drew thousands of spectators, competitors and fans, and was
considered a huge success by those involved.

Welcome to the 63rd annual Hollywood Beach Candy Cane Parade. The parade is scheduled to roll down the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 7pm.
The Candy Cane Parade on Hollywood Beach is one of the longest running holiday parades in the country. It started back in the mid-1950’s by a group of Hollywood merchants as a way to draw patrons to their shops and businesses.
